We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Content Lead with 5+ years of experience to join our Content team. You’ll have a ton of tech at your disposal and have the opportunity to shape, execute and measure brilliant digital strategies for both national and international clients, working closely with SEO and Digital PR to improve organic performance.

As Senior Content Lead at MediaVision, you will be a senior content specialist within the team.

Reporting to the Head of Content, your responsibility will be to lead content strategy and performance, champion content in a client-facing role, and ensure the team’s work is quality assured.

In addition to delivering high-quality content strategies, briefing, written content and reports for your clients, you will be responsible for researching new content approaches and strategies to support growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on clients, managing client communication, strategy and KPIs
  • Responsible for client deadlines, ensuring delivery of actionable plans if deadlines and targets are not met
  • Oversee quality standards
  • Support the wider team in the absence of the Head of Content * there is scope for team management as the department grows*
  • A ‘go to’ as a content expert, you will help develop and deliver content-specific training to the team and wider business

Day to Day:

  • Develop content strategy and planning for B2B and B2C clients
  • Present ideas, strategies, content and performance results to clients
  • Educate and lead clients when it comes to content best practice
  • Create detailed content and design briefs
  • Manage client projects and strategies from a content perspective
  • Use in-house data tools, as well as Google Analytics, SE Ranking, GSC and others
  • Work with and manage freelancer workload and delivery
  • Pitch content strategy and insights to new clients
  • Collaborate with SEO and Digital PR teams on integrated campaigns
  • Keyword research, content audits and strategy recommendations
  • Write optimised content that performs well organically
  • Recommend content assets, design, video, and layout to help shape on-brand stories for client websites
  • Use data and insights to create content for PR, reactive stories and evergreen pages
  • Research industry trends and keep up to date with the latest content techniques
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues and new joiners
